10th September 2024

●Škoda Taiwan officially launched the all-new second-generation Škoda Kodiaq series. The configurations and suggested prices are as follows: 1.5 TSI e-TEC starting at NT$1,538,000 and 2.0 TSI 4x4 starting at NT$1,738,000.

●XING Mobility officially inaugurated the world's first immersion cooling battery system production line at Huaya Technology Park in Guishan, Taoyuan.

●EVOASIS and the Freeway Bureau, Ministry of Transportation and Communications, officially announced the full implementation of 360kW ultra-fast charging services at freeway service areas, starting today. The covered service areas include Zhongli Service Area on Freeway 1, Xihu Service Area (both northbound and southbound) on Freeway 3, Nantou Service Area, Guanmiao Service Area (both northbound and southbound), and Eastern Caotun Rest Area on Freeway 6.

●VicOne announced that UD Trucks, a Japanese commercial vehicle manufacturer, has selected the xNexus VSOC Vehicle Security Operation Center platform to enhance risk identification insights using contextual attack intelligence.

●Volkswagen Taiwan announced the "ID.UNBOXING Taiwan Unboxing Tour," which will take place from 13th September to 15th September at Pier-2 Art Center in Kaohsiung, followed by an event from 20th September to 22nd September at Far Eastern A13 in Taipei.

11th September 2024

●Mercedes-Benz Taiwan announced that the "111% Mercedes-Benz" exhibition, held at the newly created Mercedes-Benz Brand Space 3.0 at the National Theater and Concert Hall Art Plaza, will be open to the public from 14th September to 22nd September. The opening hours are from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily (last admission at 6:30 PM).

●Hotai Motor announced that the iRent car-sharing platform is now available in Matsu, with a new same-station rental and return point added in Nangan.

12th September 2024

●The Yulon Group "Miles of Love" charity project, supported by CEO Lillian Yen-Chen, partnered with the group's own Luxgen brand to arrange a fleet of six electric SUVs (Luxgen n⁷) and domestic welfare vehicles (V7) to welcome Taiwan's 13 athletes at this year's Paralympics. The athletes secured three silver and two bronze medals, marking the best performance in the last four Paralympic Games.

●Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Taiwan has begun pre-sales of the Volkswagen ID. Buzz Pro S, with a starting price of NT$2.398 million.

●Hotai Motor announced that from today, Toyota and Lexus owners can charge their vehicles at Charging Blok fast charging stations across Taiwan through their exclusive owner app.

●Volvo Cars Taiwan announced the grand opening of the new Taipei Binjiang showroom and service center, operated by Victory Motors Co., Ltd.

●Tesla Taiwan announced the trial opening of its Supercharger stations for non-Tesla electric vehicles.

●The Bureau of Standards, Metrology, and Inspection (BSMI) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs announced the official launch of the nation's first international-grade "Energy-Efficient Tire Testing Laboratory," constructed at the Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC).
