●Nanyang Industries announced that it plans to launch the Hyundai Palisade 2.5T Hybrid in the second quarter of this year, followed by the Hyundai Staria 1.6T Hybrid in the third quarter, and a brand-new domestically produced model in the fourth quarter.

● Yulon Nissan Motor announced that it received 150 orders on site at the 2026 Taipei New Car and New Energy Vehicle Expo, with total nationwide orders reaching 350 units.

● Steffen Knapp, President of Volkswagen Taiwan, predicted that electric vehicles will account for 30% of Taiwan’s automotive market by 2030.

● PG Union announced that during the 2026 Taipei New Car and New Energy Vehicle Expo, its Alfa Romeo, Citroën, Jeep, and Peugeot brands collectively received more than 328 orders.

● Sime Darby Auto Kia announced that its cumulative vehicle registrations in Taiwan reached 10,624 units in 2025, and revealed plans to hold Taiwan’s first Kia Select Certified Pre-Owned Car Show on 11ᵗʰ January at the Kia Taipei Flagship Store.

●Honda Taiwan announced that it received more than 580 vehicle orders during the 2026 Taipei New Car and New Energy Vehicle Expo.

●Hotai Motor announced that Carmax has obtained TÜV NORD ISO/SAE 21434 certification for “Road Vehicles — Cybersecurity Engineering.”

●The Hotai Group partnered with the StarFab Accelerator to launch the first call for proposals of the year, focusing on three key areas: “AI-enabled operations,” “AI-driven intelligent decision-making,” and “innovative business model expansion,” covering 15 topics including AI intelligent customer service, an AI knowledge management platform for vehicle technologies, and next-generation connected systems for commercial vehicles.

●Tesla Taiwan announced that the Tesla Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive version is now officially available for online ordering, with a suggested retail price starting from NT$1.7499 million. At the same time, it officially opened Taiwan’s first V4 Supercharger station, the “Yilan – Dezu Universe Headquarters” site.

●Volkswagen Taiwan officially launched the 2026 model year Volkswagen Tiguan lineup, with variants and suggested retail prices as follows: 280 eTSI Elegance (from NT$1.398 million), 280 eTSI Elegance Premium (from NT$1.508 million), 330 TSI Elegance Premium (from NT$1.698 million), and 430 TSI R-Line Performance (from NT$1.998 million).

●Volkswagen Taiwan also officially launched the 2026 model year Volkswagen Passat Variant lineup, with variants and suggested retail prices as follows: 330 TSI Elegance (from NT$1.578 million), 330 TSI R-Line (from NT$1.828 million), and 430 TSI R-Line Performance (from NT$1.978 million).

●Hotai Motor announced that the Toyota Corolla Cross achieved cumulative registrations of 44,813 units nationwide in 2025.

●Volvo Cars Taiwan revealed that the all-new Volvo EX60 will be unveiled via an online livestream on 21ˢᵗ January.

●Hotai Motor, in collaboration with Yokohama Tire Taiwan, launched a “Road Hazard Warranty” for Toyota vehicles. Customers who purchase four tires in a single transaction are eligible for one year or 10,000 kilometers of coverage.
