●Tesla Taiwan officially launched the facelifted Tesla Model S and Model X lineup.

●Maserati Taiwan officially launched the Maserati GranCabrio Folgore, with a suggested retail price starting from NT$9.69 million. The company also announced new 490 CV versions for the GranTurismo and GranCabrio, priced from NT$7.88 million and NT$8.8 million respectively.

●Scania Taiwan officially introduced the Scania Super lineup.

●MSI, in collaboration with the National Palace Museum, unveiled a limited-edition EV Premium smart charger inspired by the aesthetics of the renowned Southern Song “Black Glaze Leaf Pattern Bowl” from the Jizhou Kiln.

27ᵗʰ August 2025

●Volkswagen Taiwan announced the official opening of its first indoor ultra-fast charging station at the Volkswagen Neihu flagship showroom. The chargers support CCS1/CCS2 standards with a maximum output of 360 kW and operate 24 hours daily, with an indoor lounge available from 9:00 to 21:00. The station is also equipped with an EnergyArk energy storage system providing 400 kW capacity to store electricity during off-peak hours, helping reduce grid peak loads, lower carbon emissions, and support ESG sustainability commitments.

●Tesla Taiwan announced price adjustments on in-stock vehicles in response to market expectations regarding tariffs between Taiwan and the U.S. Customers taking delivery of a Model 3 or Model Y between 27ᵗʰ August and 30ᵗʰ September will receive discounts: NT$80,000 off the Model 3 Refresh RWD, NT$90,000 off the Long Range, and NT$100,000 off the Performance. For the new Model Y, both RWD and LR variants include an NT$60,000 insurance subsidy. This model continues to be imported from Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg with no relocation plans at present.

●Nanyang Industries officially launched the Hyundai Santa Fe Calligraphy edition, priced from NT$2.129 million for the seven-seater and NT$2.149 million for the six-seater.

●Porsche Taiwan officially introduced the Porsche Taycan Black Edition lineup: Taycan Black Edition with Performance Battery Plus (from NT$5.1 million), Taycan 4 Black Edition with Performance Battery Plus (from NT$5.24 million), and Taycan 4S Black Edition with Performance Battery Plus (from NT$5.69 million).

●Hotai Motor announced that cumulative global sales of Lexus Electrified models have reached 3.5 million units.

●XING Mobility signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with TotalEnergies Lubricants to jointly expand the application of immersion-cooled battery systems in global electrification and energy storage scenarios.

●Porsche Taiwan inaugurated its 15ᵗʰ high-speed charging station in Yuanlin, Changhua.
