●Volkswagen Taiwan announced that its President, Steffen Knapp, personally tested the Volkswagen ID.5 Pro S, completing a 6-day journey across 8 counties and cities in Taiwan. Over a distance of more than 1,200 km, the vehicle achieved an average energy consumption of 7.19 km/kWh.

●Škoda Taiwan announced the official launch of an “Extended Warranty Special Offer”, available from now until 30ᵗʰ November, providing owners who extend warranty coverage from the 5ᵗʰ to 7ᵗʰ year with a limited-time discount of up to TWD 12,000.

●Hotai Motor received the 2025 HR Asia Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award.

●Yun San Motors officially announced the introduction of High Performance Hybrid powertrains for the fourth-generation Bentley Continental GT, Continental GT Convertible, and Flying Spur, alongside new Azure variants emphasizing comfort and elegance. Suggested retail prices: Continental GT from TWD 14.6 million, Continental GT Convertible from TWD 15.8 million, and Flying Spur from TWD 13.8 million.

●Gus Technology announced its participation in this year’s Taipei Aerospace & Defense Technology Exhibition, where it will debut its high-performance battery cell system used in a recent drone project in Vietnam. The system offers 15% higher energy density than conventional industrial batteries, with single-cell density exceeding 300 Wh/kg and module density reaching 240 Wh/kg, delivering long endurance and high reliability for advanced AI drones. GUS will also showcase integrated solutions for unmanned surface vessels, demonstrating the broad application of its battery cells across land, sea, and air domains.

●Nanyang Industries introduced an AI Assistant System jointly developed with Google, along with VR immersive training powered by Meta Quest, providing a comprehensive upgrade in service and technical training.

●Hotai Motor held the “LEXUS Little Smart Car Builder” event, combining programming, hands-on assembly, and vehicle safety simulations. Using the BBC-developed micro:bit microcontroller together with Lexus-exclusive teaching materials, participants built their own smart mini cars from scratch, embodying the spirit and value of STEAM education.

●Yulon Group held an earnings conference, announcing plans to launch new vehicles from MG, Mitsubishi, and CMC before the end of the year, while maintaining an annual production and sales target of 49,000 units.

●Audi Taiwan announced that current vehicle prices will remain unchanged with no plans for adjustment in the near future, reassuring consumers that there is no need to hesitate due to policy or tariff concerns when purchasing their desired models.

●Mercedes-Benz Taiwan, in collaboration with Glou Suru restaurant, will launch an exclusive set menu from 23ʳᵈ August to 27ᵗʰ September.
