28th July 2025

●PG Union announced the grand opening of the new Banqiao showroom and authorized service center of Star Union Motors, the Peugeot and Citroën dealer in the Greater Taipei area. Peugeot Global CEO Alain Favey visited Taiwan for the first time to attend the event.

●Xing Mobility announced a partnership with Union Bank's subsidiary, Union International Leasing, to launch a new “High-Safety Immersion Energy Storage Leasing Program”. This initiative combines Xing Mobility’s domestically developed and patented IMMERSIO™ immersion cooling technology with Union International Leasing’s financial service expertise.

●Volvo Car Taiwan airlifted the world’s only transparent-structure Volvo XC90 concept car, which made its global debut at Auto Shanghai 2025, for display in Taiwan.

●Gramus International officially unveiled the Lamborghini Temerario Alleggerita, with a suggested retail price starting at NT$20.68 million.

●Acer ITS showcased its self-developed AI Smart Parking System at the 2025 AI WAVE SHOW (World AI Vision Exhibition) held at Taipei World Trade Center Hall 1 from 31st July to 2nd August. The system aims to achieve fully automated ticketing and unmanned enforcement patrols through AI-powered parking innovation and real-time backend monitoring.

●July new car sales totaled 35,483 units, showing a slight 3.4% increase over June, but a 22.3% decrease compared to July last year.

●Škoda Taiwan officially launched the all-new second-generation Škoda Kodiaq RS 4x4, with a suggested retail price starting from NT$1.868 million.

●Motor Image Taiwan announced it will hold the “Subaru 6th Forester Launch and Brand Outlook Presentation” on 15th August.

●PG Union reported that Peugeot’s cumulative registrations from January to July surpassed 1,650 units, marking a 234% increase compared to the same period last year.

●Yulon Nissan Motor announced the additional release of 100 units each for the Nissan X-Trail “Value Edition” and “Safety Edition”.
