23rd June 2025

●Hotai Motor announced that Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda has specially designated the Linkou GR Garage—ROOKIE Racing's first overseas partner—as the venue for a public support event for the 2025 ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring endurance race. Key international sponsors of the ROOKIE Racing team were invited to attend.

●Volkswagen Taiwan announced that the 1,000,000th electric vehicle has officially rolled off the production line at the Volkswagen Zwickau plant.

●Taipei Triangle Motors announced that customers who purchase the official 2025 model year Isuzu NLR (5-ton), NMR (6.5-ton), NPR (7.5-ton), or NQR (9.5-ton), as well as the 2024 or 2025 model year FRR (11-ton) and FVR (18.5-ton) models and register the vehicle from 1st January 2025 onward (excluding certain special promotions), will receive an extended warranty of 5 years or 150,000 kilometers (whichever comes first), plus two complimentary basic maintenance services (including oil, oil filter replacement, and diesel additive).

●The STS National Super Touring Car Series announced that the second round of the 2025 season will take place from 27th to 29th June at the G2 Circuit of Lihpao International Raceway in Houli, Taichung.

●At the 2025 Hito Pop Music Awards, Hotai Motor showcased the limited-edition Toyota GR Supra Track Edition.

25th June 2025

●Mercedes-Benz Taiwan launched the “Mercedes-AMG Speed Realm” special exhibition at Taipei’s Far Eastern Xinyi A13 Plaza, running through 6th July. Featured vehicles include the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E PERFORMANCE and the Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet.

●The Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC) was honored with the “Vehicle Industry Contribution Award” by the Society of Automotive Engineers Taipei Section (SAE Taipei Section).

●Hotai Motor announced that iRent car sharing service now supports intercity roadside pickup and return between Tainan and Kaohsiung.

●Sime Darby Auto Kia announced the official opening of the Kia Taichung Shalu 3S showroom.

●Audi Taiwan officially launched the all-new Audi A5. The lineup and suggested retail prices are as follows: 110 kW advanced (starting from NT$2.17 million), 110 kW S line (starting from NT$2.297 million), 150 kW S line (starting from NT$2.585 million), S5 (starting from NT$3.691 million), Avant 110 kW advanced (starting from NT$2.17 million), Avant 110 kW S line (starting from NT$2.297 million), Avant 150 kW S line (starting from NT$2.585 million), and S5 Avant (starting from NT$3.691 million).

●AC One Motors officially unveiled the AC Cobra. The lineup and suggested retail prices are as follows: GT Roadster V8 (starting from NT$15.95 million), GT Roadster V8 S (starting from NT$16.99 million), GT Coupe V8 (starting from NT$16.95 million), and GT Coupe V8 S (starting from NT$17.89 million).
