5th May 2025

●U-Power announced the expansion of its Neihu Minshan charging station to 20 charging guns, bringing the total power output to a record-breaking 2,040 kW (over 2 MW).

6th May 2025

●Nanyang Industries officially launched the pre-sale campaign for the Hyundai Mufasa. The lineup and pre-order prices are: GLA starting at NT$890,000, GLB at NT$920,000, and GLC at NT$960,000.

7th May 2025

●Foxtron signed a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi to co-develop an electric vehicle tailored for the Australian and New Zealand markets, scheduled for launch in the second half of 2026. The vehicle will be designed and managed by Foxtron, manufactured by Yulon Motors in Taiwan, and provided to Mitsubishi as an OEM product for sales.

●Hotai Motor unveiled the new model year Toyota Town Ace van. The lineup and suggested retail prices are: 2-seater manual at NT$539,000, 5-seater manual at NT$560,000, 5-seater automatic at NT$600,000, and 5-seater automatic with TSS at NT$635,000.

●Sime Darby Auto Kia launched the Kia Sportage Adventure Edition with a starting price of NT$1,389,000. They also announced the grand opening of the Kia South Taichung 3S showroom.

8th May 2025

●Jaguar Land Rover Taiwan officially launched the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque P250 S “Urban Shadow Edition” with a suggested retail price starting from NT$2,320,000.

●XING Mobility unveiled its latest energy storage system, the XBE1000 cabinet, at EES Europe in Germany.

●PG Union presented “50 Years of BMW Art Cars” at the 2025 Taipei Dangdai Art Fair.

●Hotai Motor launched the Lexus “Little Intelligent Car Builder” workshop, allowing participants to design micro:bit chips and control smart miniature vehicles, while also learning the operating principles and concepts of the Lexus Safety System + advanced driver assistance system.

●VicOne officially launched the new automotive threat intelligence platform, xAurient, which streamlines the threat response process with tailored early-stage threat intelligence for OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. xAurient reveals the tactics and motivations behind emerging threats, provides precise insights into attack paths, and offers proactive, prioritized responses to ensure product security for software-defined vehicles (SDVs).

●Ford Lio Ho Motor officially launched the 2025 Ford Tourneo Custom. The lineup and suggested retail prices are as follows: Kombi Trend 6-seater starting from NT$1,468,000, Kombi Trend 9-seater from NT$1,538,000, Kombi Limited 8-seater from NT$1,618,000, and Bus Titanium Pro 8-seater from NT$1,838,000.

●Volkswagen Taiwan announced the official opening of the Volkswagen Linkou Showroom and Service Center, operated by authorized dealer partner Grand Talent International.
