●Pan German Motors officially begins pre-sales for the new BMW 530i M Sport, with a suggested price starting at NT$3,390,000.

●Hotai Leasing announces the addition of the Toyota Camry to its fleet.

●Volkswagen Taiwan announces support for the National Tsing Hua University student formula racing development team.

●Taikoo Motors announces that World Resources Asia Pacific has officially deployed the Volvo FE electric truck.

21st August 2024

●Volkswagen Taiwan launches its second ultra-fast charging station in Xizhi District, New Taipei City, at Foresight Motors, equipped with both CCS1 and CCS2 charging sockets.

●Mercedes-Benz Taiwan announces that the Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series is expected to be introduced in limited quantities in 2025.

●Zerova announces a partnership with the American electric heavy-duty vehicle brand WattEV Inc. to jointly develop three charging stations in California, USA, namely the San Bernardino Charging Station, Bakersfield Freight Center Charging Station, and Long Beach Port Charging Station. A total of 56 charging facilities will be built to meet the charging needs of over 100 commercial trucks.

●The Taiwan Beverage Alcohol Forum (TBAF) and Taipei City Government held the "2024 I Pledge 2.0 and Youth Motorcycle Safety Press Conference," announcing the expansion of the long-running "No Drink Driving, I Can" campaign into the "I Pledge 2.0" initiative, promoting five key pledges: "No Drink Driving," "Host and Guest Enjoy, No Urging to Drink," "Drink in Moderation, No Chasing," "Abstain from Alcohol During Pregnancy," and "No Alcohol for Those Under 18."

●EValue and Taipei City Government Department of Transportation jointly announce the installation of 320 electric vehicle charging stations across Taipei City to meet the growing demand for EV charging. These 320 charging stations (AC slow chargers) will be distributed across 56 locations in Taipei City, with each station equipped with fire blankets to enhance charging safety.
